UENO was born from a moment of inspiration in the park of the same name in Tokyo, where chefs Tiago Claro and Marcos Pereira deepened their connection with Japanese culinary tradition. From that experience came the desire to create, in Lisbon, an intimate space dedicated to the art of Omakase — a meal placed in the chef’s hands, with seasonal menus and an authorial approach.
